Description

This community has given me so much in such a short space of time, I thought it was time to give something back - so here goes :-)

This is "basically" the same render as "Nightly Rules". The shaders are identical, the lighting is in the same positions, the IBL is the same lighting, just the ENV pic, almost same pose with minor changes to legs and fingers. She slipped into something more comfortable, adjusted her belt and shook free her hair. Then we started playing with the light settings during the render. It must have taken longer than it seems - her fingernails grew a lot! Actually it still amazes me how much lighting affects a render. (because I wasn't too sure of what I was looking for there is actually a sun and sky in this scene as well, but I turned them off relatively early on during rendering - great time-saver! lol)

DazStudio 3a - Reality 2.0 - LuxRender 0.9.

No Postwork

Env. from GravelPlaza IBL packaged with Reality, one mesh front left, one above right.
Tone Mapping 500, 1/30, 5.6, gamma 2.2
Color Space Whitepoint X=0.364 Y=0,349
Gamma+Film Response: Gamma 2.0 FilmResponse Agfacolor vista 800CD
Gain: IBL 40, Front Light 0.8, Top Light 7.0
The two mesh lights were renamed in Reality so I could adjust them independently of each other (as suggested by Paolo in his RUG or somewhere)
The Front Light has an RGB of 255, 141, 42
The Top Light has an RGB of 185, 246, 255
The Render was stopped at 350 Samples/pixel.

Hope this is of some help to somebody....
All the best for 2012
